Hi,
I have noticed the following errors on my Treo 600 (GSM) so far:

1: BIG BUG: it resets the phone quite a bit. Especially when I hit the phone hardware byutton from within Agendus Mail. Not always, but quite often...seems like almost every second time

2: The second button (the down arrow) in the top right of the screen is not always displayed.

3: No possibility to navigate down into the actual email list with the dpad

4: Not a bug, but a feature request! any chance of working with Takephone (www.shsh.com) so that from that application we can launch emails? This is the only thing missing to finally give a fully integrated phone for me :-)

Thanks in advance

I also have a GSM Treo 600 (fw 3.04)...

I have tested out 1 and 2 and they don't seem to occur for me!!! For point 1: is there something particular you are doing (like receiving mail) when the phone button causes a reset?

As for (3) I just thought this was bad design :| rather than a bug but certainly a very good point and obviously a desirable feature!!!!

I have a EU Treo 6000, original firmware whatever that is. I don't have to do anything in particular to get the reset, just go into the mail app then hit the phone button pretty much does it most times. If not, sometimes I try going to my app launcher first instead of pressing phone button, then it doesn't reset on the phone button, but does reset the instant I go back into either Agendus Mail or Agendus normal...

OK I am getting this now too sometimes, did it just hitting the menu button to get out of Agendus Mail and once even when I turned the unit off while in Agendus Mail, interesting so far I cannot reproduce this when wireless mode is switched off, so this will make reproducing it with the simulator impossible!!!

Sadly unless you give me your source code ;-) I can't help, other than saying that it happens! It pretty much is a show stopper on the treo 600.

That makes two show stoppers on the treo600 LOL

I have reverted back to the stable Agendus Mail for the time being.... I think I have found enough bugs this round.... Wait till next beta to try again...

mumbos as you have a treo600 also I was wondering do you get the other ''show stopper" ie when I type a new email and click send the Treo will reset every time!

P.S. I only mentioned the simulator as iambic may be testing with that and as it does seem to occur (for me atleast) only when wireless mode is on, it may be impossible for them to reproduce, and therefore hard to track down (I have had this problem with another palmos developer b4)....

No, for me I can send fine. You'll see my other thread further up the list however where I am having difficulty getting my IMAP emails to come down, but it never resets until I leave the email app. Maybe something doesn't close down properly?

Err...spoke too soon (its SnapperMail I can send fine with.
Every time I hit send it resets. When I come back in, the email is in the outbox, and I can then send and receive without any problems ... until I switch out or the email app that is!

Hello all,

first off, thank you for all the reports.

Could you please try the latest beta build 480? Are the random resets still present for you with 480? We are trying to get the bottom of this instability and any additional detail might prove extremely useful.

Regards,

- Adriano
