The cancel button on the Connection Status (logging in) screen doesn't seem to be working. It just keeps on trying to connect (says "Attempt 3" now) cancel button deson't seem to have an effect.

Yes I experienced this also.....
To tell you the truth (Telstra's mail server here goes up and down like a yo-yo) it would be nice if the retry attempts were optioned so I could set it to retry only 1 as it takes ages for the three retries.....

I agree that we should have a preference box to select the number of retrys. Set from 0 retrys to 3 retrys.

Thanks for the feedback.
By the way on the cancel button, it's not very responsive this is due to a limitation when the system is busy getting info through the connection ... you may have to tap on the screen a couple of times before it registers the cancel.
