Hi,

I've found three problems with the SMS feature:

- The SMS still contains the 'à' character at the end. I've send an SMS to a T610 and a Nokia 6310, both show the character. If I fetch the message with Agendus Mail, the character dissapears on my T3, if I use funSMS, it stays.

- After fetching SMS from my T610, the SMS inbox is not updated, it still shows the old contents while the title shows the new number of unread SMS. I must switch to another folder or open an old SMS and return to the SMS inbox to see the new messages.

- Together with BtToggle, Bluetooth is not automatically turned on, when sending an SMS. My T3 just freezes and needs a reset. If I turn on Bluetooth manually before sending the SMS, it works fine.
Pressing the Send/Receive-Button to fetch mails toggles Bluetooth correctly.

In my case, Agendus Pro beta 8 program ( May 4 2004 build 389 ) do not detect funSMS. It only have Agendus SMS as options, but it does detect SnapperMail

I too get the funny character going to a Nokia 6310i from a T3.

But here is another problem, if I try to send/receive SMS's from the Nokia 6310i I get a Reset every time and I can't even reset it, have to use the pin soft reset. If i I try to receive my SMS's using the standard Palm SMS service it works fine.

Same thing happens with my SE T616.

I've noticed the same issue if I don't have Bluetooth enabled on phone and US50 before going into SMS (not all the time) but... if they are active then I get no problems

Hi Everyone,

Please let me which exactly issues from reported here you still get with the latest build published on the forum http://support.iambic.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10228 or some of them are gone away for you. Because I did essential fixes related to 'à' character and so on.

Thanks, Sergiy

As far as I can tell, my Tungsten T no longer resets itself when accessin SMS messages on my SE T616. Using build 509.

With build 521, I still have that BtToggle-problem, still only when fetching or sending SMS.
Using mail toggles Bluetooth correctly.

the a character problem has gone on sending now (I do notice a couple of spurious characters in the sent SMS itself now !), and I've not had any weird lockups.
It's not happy toggling BT for SMSs (I've only used WiFi for mail so not tested that) so I've taken to leaving it on
