View Full Version : AutoPreview doesn't work

Hi,

the AutoPreview feature doesn't work on my T3. No matter if I select it or not, the list of my mails doesn't change.

I've installed AM beta over my existing Agendus Pro installation.

On a newly installed PalmSimulator it works fine...

I am having the same problem with my T3 and AM beta 512. The AutoPreview option has no effect on the message list. I can remember it working before but cannot recall if that was with the beta or not.

Hi,

Please try following steps.

(1) Completelly uninstall AgendusMail via launcher delete.
(2) Install build #512 and try whether problem is not gone away.
(3) If problem still exists, then try exactly above but with build 510.

And let me know what results did you get.

Hi Sergiy,

Just performed the test that you outlined. The results are:
1. beta 512 doesn't display AutoPreview (IMAP mail account, which finally gets messages)
2. beta 510 does display it (same account but using POP3 as this beta doesn't work with my mail server's IMAP implementation)

I then re-installed beta 512 and tried accessing the account using POP3, and autopreview worked. Changing the account to IMAP disabled the autopreview after receiving mail. Reseting the account to POP3 and receiving mail, causing duplicated messages [which is to be expected], resulted in a mixed autopreview:
- the IMAP downloaded messages had no preview
- the new POP3 messages had a preview

Both IMAP and POP3 settings were for headers + 2k.

I've just realised that autopreview only shows for unread messages.
