Hello, i'm new in this forum.
First a great hello to the iambic Agendus crew who did a great job. I upgraded recently from a Sony Clie to a Treo 600 (german T-Mobile GSM/GPRS) and from Agendus Standard to Agendus Pro, which includes the Agendus Mail client. When using Agendus Mail, i discovered some flaws which the customer service asked me to report to this forum after trying the Agendus 4 Beta (sorry, if i'm repeating another thread):
1. When setting the sort order for incoming IMAP mail to date, the mails are not ordered correctly (may be it's connected to the fact that my Treo is set to german locale). Some mails seem to be displayed out of order, another IMAP client shows them in correct order and with a different date. The year is not displayed, so it's hard to make the difference between mails from the same month of different years.
2. My IMAP mail server for incoming mail (in fact it's a gateway) and the SMTP server for outgoing mail are different machines with *DIFFERENT* login names and passwords. So i need different places to enter the username/password pair for the IMAP and the SMTP server.
3. Scrolling through the mails using the 5way up/down keys works only for the mails currently displayed in the list box. Mails outside the current view can only be accessed using the scroll bar and the stylus.
4. After Agendus Mail has accessed the mail server, the phone application is not working anymore and the status display for network coverage has disappeared. The radio seems to be working, because the LED is still flashing. When trying to call the Treo, the unit makes a software reset and asks for the pin.
5. When connecting to an IMAP server, the folder structure is resynchronized each time, even when the folders are unchecked in 'Manage Folders'. This causes a lot of additional delay for a sync. A better solution would be to sync only the checked folders, and to add an additional menu item 'Sync folder structure' to update the complete folder structure.
6. When synchronizing a large number of mails, from time to time an error message occurs stating that some mails have been deleted. The sync process is interrupted and has to be started again.
Thank's
