I couldn't find the possibilty to go directly to a specific date before entering a new meeting. It can be done when you are making a new item, but when you are discussing in group a possible date you need to have overview over your agenda. Now you have to scroll day by day (or week by week, or month by month) to go to a date. This works when the date is in the near future, but what about several month (or a year or so) ahead, then it this is sucks.
This feature is there in Outlook or in my old Psion pda's.

This is a true fact and I agree that it creates a vacum
(Vacuums can be created by "sucking" air out of a sealed containers)

This issue was raised as a bug.

Alas you will also notice that the feedback from Iambic creates a lager vacuum.

A good example how to jump to a specific date is found in DayBookPlus: http://www.l3solutions.com/L3Prod_L3DBPSp8.htm

I found this app. to be very unstable, but the jump to a specific date worked fast and nice.

even in the SE standard calendar you can tap the date to get a screen where you can easily scroll to the month or years. This is ok too. Agendus come on....

I must confess, that I missed something. In the split and list display you can tap the date to get a convenient go to date screen. I missed it, because it sometimes is a bit slow and this feature does not work in the today display. Actually this will do fine, although a field where you can write a date to go to directly would be nice also.

But the way it is done in the day-view (list or grid) should also be possible in the week or month view. Changing by week or month is far to slow, probably because every time the database has to be completely read for every week or month.
