Default Strip-down version of Agendus?

Hi. Is it possible to do a simplified or strip-down version of Agendus?

I am a long Windows Mobile (WM) user who has recently converted to Blackberry (9700). In WM, I can display the tasks and appointments on home screen (refer to screenshot below):

Now I know that for some reason this cannot be done in BB. I have been searching high and low for a 3rd party app that can do the same or very similar to what I was used to in WM. The closest I find to achieve the above is the Agendus (refer to screenshot below).

Now Agendus is really a full-fledge software with lots of features that I don't need. Is it possible to do a strip-down version of Agendus just to do the above feature and functionality? I am willing to pay for this strip-down software, and I bet there are a lot of other users will find this useful (one-touch shortcut to bring up the tasks and appointments in one page like above). This is basically the next best thing to having the tasks and appointments displayed on the home screen (you can google this to see there are a lot of people who wants this features out there).

Hope you will consider. If yes, I am willing to provide some suggestions on features and functionality etc.

This topic has come up numerous times through the years. The result was that no two people agree on exactly what the basic functions to include would be. Stripped down to one is not stripped down to another. Something that one person feels is essential is a premium feature to someone else. So we wind up with the full version of Agendus.

Denver,

If you are just looking for a third party app to but information on your "home screen" there are a couple of apps that may/may not interest you. Take a look at e-Mobile Today or Pocket Day Personal/Professional.

Allibama, it's not a matter of how many people agree what basic functions it would be. Perhaps if I rephrase my request in this manner: I would like Iambic to consider developing an app that will show appointments and tasks on the same screen. This app is in no relation to Agendus whatsoever. Maybe this is clearer. I just made reference to Agendus because the feature of the the app that I requested is already in Agendus. So I thought rather than another person/company developed the app from zero, it might be easier if Iambic develop this app because they have the software code already, it is just a matter of "stripping down" the other non-relevant codes / features only.

RBernier, thanks for the suggestions. I have already tried the trial version of Pocket Day. I've also looked at e-mobile Today, but from the review and screenshots, it does not look like it has the features / functionality that I am looking for.

Appointments and tasks on the same screen? Maybe just wait for a future build on this platform, cause this was one of the best things about the original Agendus for Palm. Tasks and appointments should be together.
