Agendus for Nexus One
I know you are still considering putting development time and effort into Android. The Nexus One is an amazing device, and Android will obviously take over the Touch Phone market. Given the capacitive screen, rendering the stylus useless, do you have plans to make Agendus friendly to finger touch only? This seems the direction of all Touch Phones, and would seem a larger market than that of iPhone. Why delay?

Hopefully the touch part should be easy after doing the iPhone version.

Agendus for Nexus One
I do not understand the cautious part. Are you unwilling to develope more than one platform at a time? Things are exploding in this market! Does Iambic not see the potential? Are they too cheap to hire more develpers to address the Android craze? You have a product like no other. For those of us who recognize this, you are golden! I urge you to do what it takes to develop iPhone AND Android!!!

When you picture Iambic, do you see a building full of developers, office staff, and marketing people, or do you see 2-3 guys in one room? Perhaps if you'll picture something closer to the latter you'll have a better idea of what's going on. Of course Iambic sees the potential. As you know from your other thread asking about further development of the WM version, Android is at the top of the list for development.

Alli,
I have been a long time user of Agendus on my old Treo 650. I just retired it to move to the new HTC EVO 4G. Its an amazing phone, but available apps still lack the versatility of Agendus. Yet I can't see ever going back to Palm at this point. Android is growing leaps and bounds and Agendus needs to be in the game.
I can understand a small company having only a handful of developers, but programming talent is becoming a commodity. If the business model warrants it, contract out more of the work and accelerate your development efforts. Once opportunities for market share passes you by, you're dead. If the demand is strong enough, the cost of developing your product quickly will come back through sales made sooner rather than later.
I patiently await Agendus for Android. Please push this project forward.

I agree
I too have been a long time Agendus user and have always loved and raved about it. About 2 monthes ago though, I switched to an android phone and sorely miss the functionality of Agendus. I figured "they've been working on it so long, it can't be far off". Alas, I continue to wait and watch.
It would hurt me, as I typically am an extremely loyal consumer, but unless Iambic is close behind the competitor timewise, I will purchase the first to market app and won't look back. I do so hope it's Iambic!!

Agendus for Android
Hi, I'm from the version "Action Names 5.0" from 2001 satisfied client from Iambic. Now I have a desire HTC bought, and had to find that there is no alternative to Agendus. Unfortunately, there is no version for Android. I have read this topic and also want to ask me is when to expect with the release of Agendus for Andoid. It is urgent! Michael

While an Android version is definitely on the Iambic/Splash roadmap, there is no ETA yet.

I would like to ask you one last time after a date for the Andoidversion of Agendus. Can you give me a date for publication? Otherwise I need to buy the software from www.companionlink.com because it can deliver all of my desired features for Android. I would like to use Agendus, but once I have purchased elsewhere, I'm gone!

I highly recommend Companion Link. It is a useful companion to Agendus and many other pim managers. I would definitely go ahead and make this purchase even if Agendus were already out for Android...which it's not, and there is still no published release date.

Not only no Agendus, no decent calendar at all
I hate to say this, but not only is there nothing like Agendus available for android, there currently isn't a single descent calendar application at all (with the possible exception of the version included with HTC's Sense UI, which while improved is still lacking).
No ability to search for events. No ability to go to a particular date. Very limited repeat capabilities (unlike the online version). E.g.: you can't set up a weekly repeat for M,T,F. You can weekly repeat all weekdays or all weekends only.
Even if Iambic isn't ready to do a full release of Agendus with its integration of calendar, tasks, and contacts, at least as a first step release a usable calendar application for android!
