10.02 Slow Speed Still Exists
Treo 600. Starting V10.02 takes as long as starting 10.01.
I've uninstalled and have gone back to DateBk5.

Same here, but it's perhaps 2-3s for me so I can deal with it. Seems it keeps getting better so I'll stick with Agendus for a while longer.. I haven't seen any bizarre crashes out of it for a while, but I never touch the wallpaper, that was always a big problem area in my experience.

It takes 8-10 seconds on my Clie TH55 to start Agendus 10.02. Way too long!! I even looked at Datebk as an alternative today, tho I'm not ready to make that switch yet.

The 10.0 was ok in speed, 10.01 : awfull, not only at launch (4 to 5 sec) but also when changing day to next day to next day ... 10.02 : no improvements...disappointing

Any hope for a solution?
So, Iambic, is there any hope that this speed problem will be fixed in the future? I'm using 10.02 on a Clie TH55.
I love Agendus, and have been using it since its Action Name days. I would hate to have to give up on it, but if I am honest, I have to admit that this speed problem has become really very problematic.

My version 10.01 and 10.02 start within about 1.5 seconds on the Treo 650. I really like the improvements in the new version.

My thanks to Iambic for fixing so many things in 10.02 (I'm still working through them). However, I have to agree that the biggest show-stopped in 10.01, the start-up performance, isn't fixed.
That said, it's somewhat better. Whereas startup was 7 seconds before, it seems to be down to 4-5 now. That's better, but it's still too slow.
I'm going to play around and see if I can find anything to help.

I just bought a new lifedrive. I'm using Agendus 10.02 and it takes 18 seconds for it to start.....IMHO, that is a little bit too much.
Please fix this. Might it have something to do with the fact that I have about
20 icon sets? The size of agendus on my palm is 5.2MB.

Startup-Time for me went from ~7 seconds (10.01) down to ~2.5 seconds, so for me, the improvement is really visible...
Regardless of the minor bugs/inconveniences (e.g. still translation-bugs in german version), AgendusPro is (again) the perfect PIM for me! No crashes for quite a while now and a bearable startup-time - it was never as quick as DateBk5 anyway...
I had several crashes in 10.01, but I guess, that was because I just installed the new versions over the old ones. My TH55 got unstable all over, so I cleared memory and installed everything from scratch (and re-installed my >1000 meetings and >200 addresses) and voila, it is rock-stable now!!!

Performance improvements
10.02 performance improvement on Treo 650 is considerable. Updating due date on Task has moved from about 10sec to about 3sec. Tolerable I guess, but earlier versions (9) were about half that. Please keep tuning performance rather than adding features.

I'm me too an agendus fan ... but the 10.01 and 10.02 speed is really an issue for me, especially compared to more "simple" app like TMP. Anyway I really like agendus, but, in split day view, when I hit left button to go to next day I have a 1-2s blank screen then the screen take 1-2s more to redraw itself, line by line sloooowly : before with 9 and 10.0 it was, nearly, a snap...please at least aknowledge of the issue.
