Tasks & Calls Not Showing
AgendusPre 12 (installed today) on my T5.
I ran a purge on old tasks (a week old) and now it doesn't show any tasks or calls in any of the views, other than in the tasks list. The task list shows all the tasks and calls that should be there, and all the filters work in that view.
If I tell the task list view to show completed items, those in the last week (not purged) WILL show in the normal view ("Split"). Creating a new one and completing it doesn't work.
It looks like the "purge" function has stopped all existing uncompleted tasks, and any new ones, from showing in calendar views.

Hi Steve,
We certainly would have encounterd this during our extensive internal and beta testing, but didn't. Assuming you have 'Tasks/Calls' set to show in these views, can you try going to one of the calendar views that is not showing your tasks, then tap on the screwdriver, then 'View Options', then 'Show All' ?
Let us know if this helps.

Michael,
Checking these settings was one of the first things I did - I've done it again and rebooted and no change. It was fine until I ran the purge - just Tasks & Calls checked and teh date left at the default 13/6/07; it reported it had purged 0 meetings and 23 tasks - which seemed about right. But it doiesn't now show the tasks it didn't purge (other than in the Tasks view).
You never catch everything in beta testing!

Maybe a dumb question but can the lost tasks be viewed with the plain old Palm app for tasks?

Yes, they appear in the native app - same as in the Agendus Tasks view - they just disappear from the calendar views.
I've restored my task database (TaskDB-P-Tod) from last night's backup and they return. Run the purge and "Presto!" no tasks appear in calendar views again. It looks like the v12 purge routine makes an unplanned (or unexpected change) to the task DB.
Guess I'll avoid running a purge until there's an answer.

Hi Steve,
What are the exact settings you have under View Options --> Tasks tab --> Show tasks checkbox? I will try duplicate your setup.

Same problem here, I upgraded to 12 and now when I enter a new task or modify an existing task with todays date they dont show up in the "Today View" but they are in the Task view.

Same thing here as well. Tasks are not showing up in today view. Managed to trigger a reset in today view as well, not sure if it is related.

Pretty much the same here. Everything appeared ok until I ran a purge and now the only thing I see in the Day View is a couple of really old calls and tasks. New and current tasks have disappeared but they do show up in the Tasks view.
Oops.

Another interesting thing. On some views the "options" icon in the lower left-hand corner is glowing red rather than the typical way it appears in other views. Strange...

Yes, I've seen that too but I can't recreate it consistently. I'm running SkinUI so it might be a conflict from that.

Not running skinIU on my end , but I am running palmrevolt. I restored by task and calendar databases from a previous backup and now I am seeing my missing meetings and tasks in today view again. I will not purge again!

I also noticed the icon is red, and it's only in task view, maybe this could help the developers, it must be red for some reason.

Well, i have a solution for that issue,
I know it sounds strange, but try it, and you'l see!
Go to prefs, Date & time, set the date to one or two days ahead, then run Agendus, you should now see everything, now just set the date back to the correct date, and enjoy!
But its still not the way it should be.
