Default Syncing TripTracker and Outlook

Without a manual, it is difficult to determine whether I am expecting things that the program cannot deliver. I thought the program would automatically pick off any reservation data on Outlook and input it to TripTracker. I am hoping that this is possible, and that I am simply ignorant of the process.

Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

Post Looking for an update on a previously identified fix issue

Just noticed that there is a Trip Tracker version for Smartphone. Can anyone speak to differences between this and what many of us had been using on our phones equipped with WM? I'm particularly interested in knowing whether the problem with the inability to adjust hotel check in/check out times has been addressed in either version.

Thanks

The smartphone version is basically the Windows mobile version for phones without a touch screen.

Default TT Sync Solution Found. . . for $36

Like others, I have never been able to get the sync functionality in TripTracker to work correctly between my Vista desktop and my WM6.1 Smartphone. Today, I upgraded my Pocket Controller Pro software from www.soti.net and used its sync functionality to successfully sync the TripTracker.dat file in the My Documents folder on my desktop to the corresponding folder on my Smartphone. Worked beautifully. I only enter data on my desktop machine so I set it up for a one-way sync. Two-way synchronizing is an option but I have not tried it. The sync rule can be set to run on a schedule and/or at the time the device is connected. Cost is $35.95 w/o the download protection.
