If you want to migrate your palm data to a blackberry there are a couple of ways. You cannot sync a blackberry to Palm Desktop. You can sync a blackberry to Outlook and use Agendus for Windows Outlook Edition. To migrate your data:
1. Switch your palm desktop 6.2 sync (start menu>All programs>Palm>PIM conduit sync to Outlook (assuming you have Outlook installed). Sync palm to Outlook. Next, sync blackberry to Outlook.

2. You can use the Palm Migration Wizard by cradling the palm and the new blackberry. Open Blackberry Desktop Manager and follow the prompts in the Migration Wizard.

Migrating
Thanks a lot!
From what I understand, if I am using Pdesktop and AWPDEd, I will have to move to Outlook and AWOutEd and the features currently available in the Agendus for Palm Desktop Edition I can still maintain them through AWOutEd in the PC but not, at the moment, in the handheld (BB or any other brand). Is that correct?

You will have many of the features available in the Palm edition in the BB edition, but by no means all of them. The Palm version is by far the most mature.

You are welcome. Correct, there are some variations between the platforms so please keep this in mind. Overall, yes you will be able to maintain use of Agendus on the new platforms.
If you have not already, please grab the download to Agendus for Windows Outlook Edition in your account at http://www.iambic.com/myiambic/ on the My Products page. Your license should work with it as well. If not, please submit a support ticket and they will get you a code. http://support.iambic.com/

Still struggling
Hi,
I have installed the MS Outlook and added on top the Agendus Desktop Outlook Edition, when I'm syncing the palm with the outlook, with all the conduits set to "handheld overwrites Desktop", nothing happens. The sync log doesn't show any activity on Tasks/Calendar/Contacts/Memos in spite of being specified in the Custom installation.
The only thing that shows movement is the Addit programs
What have I done wrong?

Have you switched the sync conduit itself from syncing with the Palm desktop to syncing with Outlook?

We need Michael's help for this. There is an Outlook "thing" and I recall it being very simple, but not what it's called. (I'd rather be waterboarded than use Outlook.)

Outlook and waterboarding
Thanks
I agree on the waterboarding and Outlook, but here we are. I've ditched my principles over the side.
If I might make a suggestion, it would be great that Agendus could have their Desktop platform so these phone changes weren't such a hassle. I read something a couple years ago about a "My Agendus" version on the web. Did anything come out of that? Or will come?
Thanks

Agendus Anywhere was a great idea. Not sure what became of it. Right now, with everyone syncing to the cloud, it may be a moot issue. And this is the problem with Agendus making a desktop platform - many of the new devices are incapable of desktop sync (Android, Pre, iPhone). I sync my iPhone to Google, and sync that back to my trusty Palm desktop and Agendus for Windows (Palm desktop edition) using Companion Link.
I'll make sure Michael takes a look at this thread as soon as he can!

Hi,
Alli unless I'm missing something, I'm uncertain what "Outlook thing" you're referring to. What is described here on the sync problem doesn't sound like it has anything to do with Agendus, but rather between Outlook and Palm Desktop....then again maybe you already knew that. To prove my point, you could uninstall AGW and try again.
If that is, in fact true, I might suggest reinstalling Palm Desktop, making sure Outlook is comletely terminated.

You understood me. Just a matter of wording. Outlook thing...Outlook issue...Outlook's fault.
